By optimizing the filter media area and filter media storage shape to remove as much sludge (foreign matter) as possible from inside the engine, pressure loss has been improved by up to 10% (compared to the standard). Furthermore, by using filter media with a Y-shaped cross section, sludge (foreign matter) is efficiently removed and wear inside the engine is prevented.
